  Hello everyone!    Greeting to all Oduduwa's children around the world My name is Professor Adelson de Brito, better known as Mawo Adelson. I am a Candomblé Priest in African Voduns and Orixas religions I am a Yoruba-Nagô language and culture teacher. I am a grandson of Nagô people, born and raised abroad. I was born in Salvador, capital of the state of Bahia, Brazil. I speak to all of you from this town. I am really happy. Thanks to the Almighty Oduduwa, I have the opportunity to participate in this program, which includes Professor Mateus Alleluya. Did you know that my city has the largest black population in the world out of Africa? Perhaps you know that the Nagô people are an Oduduwa people who were kidnapped in the western region of East Africa by slave traders during the slave period?   Greetings to everyone! Did you know that in ancient times, during the slavery period in this city, the descendants of Oduduwa, despite their respective orgins, used to   speak the same language to communicate with each other? They called themselves "Anagô", people calle their language " Anagô language" or simply "Nagô". We must not forget that it is important to deal with what is happening in the world right now. Let the protection of the Gods of the land of Oduduwa will be guaranteed to all of us. Loved ones, I come here today because I want to talk about Orisa’ as chants.. Last week, I was invited to participate in the birth of a new Orisa, that is, in an Iyaô Naming ceremony. We chanted many chants in praise of Oris Oxóssi, but I couldn't understand thr eords in the chants what they were singing. This has always worried me in my life.
